A short video for every release you ship

Short answer

Every Release is a monthly plan of four videos, each with everything in One Film plus a 15 second cut and post copy. The preview for each video is ready within 12 hours of its brief. It costs $699 a month, about $175 per video, unused videos roll over one month, and you can cancel any time.

What you get

Most products change faster than their videos. Every Release keeps up: four videos a month, each one about a feature, an integration, a milestone or a how-to. Each comes with a narrated and a music-only version, captions, landscape, vertical and square files, a 15 second cut and the post to share it.

Because we make every video for you, we learn your interface, colours and tone, so later videos need less explaining in each brief. Our guide on how to announce a new feature with a short video shows what a good release video covers.

How it works

  1. Brief each video. Send the release notes or a few lines about the change, with screenshots if it is behind a login.
  2. Storyboard. A short plan for each video. Approve it or ask for changes.
  3. Preview. Within 12 hours of each brief, you watch it on your private, watermarked preview link.
  4. Payment and files. The plan is paid monthly by bank transfer, and we send each video's files once it is confirmed.

Is a monthly plan worth it?

If you ship fewer than two things a month worth showing, a single One Film when you need it is cheaper. If you ship often, four videos at about $175 each costs less than four separate films. Unused videos roll over for one month, so a slow month is not wasted.

When a monthly plan is not the right fit

If your releases are mostly fixes and small changes, there may not be four things a month worth a video, and single films will cost less. The plan also covers short videos up to 30 seconds. For a big launch inside the month, such as a new product or a pricing change, Launch Day gives you the extra cuts, images and posts a launch needs.

Frequently asked questions

What can the four videos be?

Any mix of feature clips, announcements, how-to snippets and short explainers, each up to 30 seconds. Tell us what changed and what viewers should do next, and the storyboard will propose the right style.

What happens if we do not use all four videos?

Unused videos roll over to the next month, for one month. After that they expire, so the plan stays simple to run on both sides.

Can we cancel the plan?

Yes, any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal, so you are not charged for the following month. The plan has no minimum term, so you can stop after any month.

How fast is each video?

The preview for each video is ready within 12 hours of its brief. Each video includes 2 rounds of revisions, the same as One Film.
