What you get

A launch is more than one video. On the day you need the main film, shorter cuts for replies and feeds, a GIF for places that will not autoplay video, gallery images for Product Hunt and the words for each post. Launch Day makes all of it from one storyboard, so every piece tells the same story.

The main film is 20 to 30 seconds. The 6 and 15 second cuts reuse its strongest moments, and the two openings let you test which first line keeps people watching. Our guide to video hooks for SaaS products explains why the opening matters most.

How it works

  1. Brief. Tell us your launch date, your product link and the one thing people should remember.
  2. Storyboard. A one-page plan with the hook, each scene and the on-screen copy. Approve it or ask for changes.
  3. Preview. The day after you approve, you watch the whole package on a private, watermarked preview link.
  4. Payment and files. Pay by bank transfer when you are happy, and we send every file and the launch copy.

Plan the launch around it

Book the film at least a few days before launch so there is time for revisions. Our free launch checklist and date planner gives you a dated plan, and the Product Hunt launch video guide covers what the gallery video needs to do.

If you will also run paid ads after launch, Launch + Ads adds three openings in three shapes and a 60 second demo for people who want to see more.

When Launch Day is not the right fit

If you only need one video for your homepage and will not post widely on the day, One Film covers that for less. If the launch has a paid budget behind it, the extra openings and shapes in Launch + Ads save you making ad versions later. And if your launch is less than two days away, add the 12-hour rush so there is still time for a round of changes.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the right package for a Product Hunt launch?

Yes. It includes the launch film, Product Hunt gallery images, a GIF and the maker comment, which are the pieces most launches need on the day. The posts for X, LinkedIn and email are written to match the film.

How early should I book before my launch date?

The preview is ready the day after you approve the storyboard, but leave a few days for revisions and for writing your own launch notes. Booking a week ahead is comfortable. A 12-hour rush is available for $99.

What are the two openings for?

They are two different first few seconds for the same film. Post one, or run both, and keep the one that holds attention better. Openings matter because most viewers decide quickly whether to keep watching.

Do I own the films and the copy?

Yes. You own everything we deliver, and the music is composed for your film, so you can post it, edit it or run it as an ad without copyright claims.
