What a product video storyboard looks like
A product video storyboard is a one-page plan of your film before you pay. It shows each scene as a drawn frame, what the viewer sees, the words on screen and what the voice says. You read it, ask for changes or approve it, and nothing is made until you do.
Below is a full example for a made-up product. It is the same page a client opens from us, with the frames drawn the same way. Read it like a viewer would.

Product
Shown: The logo, then the real product on its main dashboard.
Voice: Names the product and what it does, in one sentence.
The moment
Shown: A zoomed-in screen recording of the one action that proves it works.
Voice: Walks through that single action.
Call to action
Shown: End card with the product name, the address and one button.
Voice: One next step and the address.
Tidewise is invented for this page. In a real storyboard the scenes, words and voice come from your product and your brief. The exact voiceover script and timings are shared once the project is paid.
What is on a storyboard
- A drawn frame for every scene, so you can see the shot and the camera move at a glance.
- What the viewer sees in each scene, on your real product wherever it can be.
- The words on screen, because most people watch with the sound off.
- A note on the voice for each scene, plus the film's length, formats and tone.

Storyboard questions
What is a product video storyboard?
A storyboard is a one-page plan of your film before you pay. It shows each scene as a drawn frame, what the viewer sees, the words on screen and what the voice says, so you can approve the film before any production starts.
What does a storyboard include?
The film type, length and formats, who it is for, the one thing viewers should remember, the voice and tone, and every scene with its frame, shot, on-screen words and a note on the voiceover.
Is the storyboard the finished film?
No. The frames are simple pencil sketches that show the idea and the camera moves. The finished film uses your real product on screen. You approve the plan first, so there are no surprises.
Do I pay before I see the storyboard?
No. You send a short brief, we send the storyboard on a private link, then a private preview, and you pay only once you are happy with it.
Is the film live-action, with actors?
No. We build the film from your real product screens, your words and simple motion graphics, so what you approve in the storyboard is what we can make. There are no actors and no stock footage.
Can I ask for changes?
Yes. Tap Ask for changes on the page and say what to adjust. We put a new version on the same link.
